Request for a Resale Certificate
Section 47-270 of the Common Interest Ownership Act requires that a condominium unit owner provide a Resale Certificate to a purchaser prior to the transfer of possession of the unit.

Northeast Property Group produces Resale Certificates on the behalf of all the Associations it manages. If you are in the process of selling your unit, you should request a Resale Certificate soon after obtaining a signed purchase and sale agreement.
There is a fee, typically payable by the seller, for preparing a resale certificate. You may make payment by check (payable to Northeast Property Group Inc.) or credit card. To initiate this process, download the form above or contact our office.
If paying by credit card, call our office at (860) 437-7005 with the card information. For security reasons, it is not advisable to include credit card numbers in email messages. In some cases, it is necessary for us to have a copy of the Sales Agreement to produce all the documents required for the closing. We will contact you in these circumstances.
We are required to produce the Resale Certificate within ten business days after receipt of your written request and payment of the fee. Normally, however, we are able to provide the documents in a shorter period of time. If you require an expedited certificate, there is an additional fee of $10.
